I certainly learned an immeasurable amount and I hope I taught the
kids something at the MMAR school.  The Trust does great work in giving regular
practical help to needy people in the area and I was honoured to get involved.

Jacob’s organizational skills are first class and with his extensive knowledge
of kerala and its people, he is just the contact you need to arrange your
‘holiday of a lifetime’.  Kerala will assail your senses from every direction. 
It will widen your eyes, twitch your nose and blast your ears.
My recommendation would be to stay with Jacob and Deepa and eat with
the family and Ponamma , the cook, makes my favourite chappathy and egg curry.

Thank you for the wonderful days we spent with you in Chengannur. 
We were so pleased to see, at last, the place which has just been a
name for so long.  The low-cost houses constructed by the Trust must
be such a source of pride to their owners.  Special too was the delightful
concert put on by the school children in our honour.

a ‘real experience’ for their guests, but believe me, going to Chengannur
for a home visit with Jacob and family will really let you see how people live,
what makes them tick and how to start understanding just a little bit of the
extraordinary place that is India.

 What a memorable  time of my life ....the colours, smells and tastes of Chegannur
are deeply imprinted in my mind. The warmth and hospitality of Jacob and his family
....we were treated as part of the family and it was difficult to say Good-bye".
