Through the East Sheen Chengannur Trust, more than 100 children are sponsored in their education and upbringing.  Each of them has a sponsor in U.K. with whom a very personal contact is maintained and many of them have visited them here.  A part time school gives extra free help to children in their education after their regular school hours.  The Trust also managed to build 45 low cost houses for the homeless over a period of 20 years and this has become a big blessing to the recipients.  The Trust has also contributed for making many individuals self sufficient by donating to  them goats, sewing machines, advance for running petty shops etc. The Trust is branching out to more areas of help and is now in the process of helping needy grans who are a neglected lot in Kerala, by freely supplying them with provisions and small amount of pocket money for their daily sustenance.   The Projects of the Trust can be had in detail from the website www.east-sheen-chengannur-trust.org.uk.  Please feel free to get in touch with Mr. Russell Mattin to get to know the projects of the Trust better and also to assist in any manner.
